Title: Bio-Holism™

Bio-Holism™ aims to nurture, create and foster environments in which the talents of weeds, livestock, landscapes, in brief all human and non-human beings are taken into consideration. The intention is to shift the focus from what we don't want - 'weeds', to what we want - ecosystems which are alive - healthy, balanced and productive.

An important aspect of Bio-Holism™ is the bringing together of nature and culture, (human created nature) and discovering how these can be utilised to maximum potential with minimum disturbance. This means that at times culture we may need to be flexible in order to incorporate the needs of nature. For instance cotton production is better situated to certain environmental conditions than others. Australian conditions are generally not situated to growing cotton thus it is perhaps better to import from those countries such as India, where cotton can be more readily grown without heavy inputs of herbicides, pesticides, water and nutrients.
