Title: re: Professor and farmer unite for hot water fire ant fix

Generally, insects exposure to 70+ degree hot water is fatal. White ants included. The challenge would be ensureling the Queen us exposure to the water.

The machine can distribute low flow hot water at around 95 degrees (just under boiling) and depending on soil type, the ground may be able to be heated above 70 degrees to ensure the Queensland death.

Achieving back flow, utilising the ants existing tunnelling would also ensure success.

Kind regards
